I admitted my mistake. We circ'ed our first son. I felt horrible at the time about it, but I thought that is what you were supposed to do. We didn't do it to my second or 3rd son. My second son called me recently during his bachelor party and thanked me for not circumcising him. I don't even want to know what all was going on 🤦‍♀️
I see a lot of people asking Odell why he is talking about this. The real question you should be asking yourself is ‘why is it taboo to talk about this?’ The 1st time you think about this or have a serious discussion should not be when the nurse asks you if you are going to circumcise when the mother is exhausted following birth. We broke the cycle. My wife wanted to have our first son cut because she was afraid that girls would talk about him in high school and he'd be embarrassed. I told her that I'd allow it on one condition: she would have to be in the room and watch it happen. She stopped being so concerned about girls telling tales of his intact johnson.
Is for hygienic purposes & is not a must. The skin can store many harmful stuff , can easily transmit/ contracting sexual diseases. (Proven on hiv/aids) As far as religion is concerned for those who kept it theres special rules on how to get it clean before prayers, like cleaning the body with water not only papers. Keeping it or not is ones choice.
Regarding modern circumcision (not necessarily Biblical/traditional circumcision), I agree that the number should be zero.
