You can choose to be unnecessarily offended by this statement, or you can realize that one of the biggest differences of Nostr is the user-centric economic dynamics created by the protocol’s design. The incentives here for users/consumers, artists/creators, businesses, and app developers are different than legacy social media. That’s why so many are here in the first place. I agree and disagree at the same time. I was afraid of responding to the earlier note for fear of giving offense. I just value a conversation way way way more than the sats, even though I agree that zapping the main value than can revolutionize both communication and... artistry. Is that the right word? "Content" is a dumb word, but that. Basically, I'm not interacting with people out of a desire for zaps, but I'll use zapping to encourage people to converse.
