What is the difference between "exposing information" and trying to draw attention to the things you share and are interested in? If your list is so objectively important and interesting, does it upset you at all that you have to be the one to repost it yourself? Nobody else cares as much as you do about this list, and the fact that you make no attempt to adapt or improve your posts is sad. As is the fact that you insist on adding your words to all of these. The fact that you insist on spoon-feeding to everybody what they should be thinking about each of these posts is very condescending and insecure. You should post your notes more like I post my own notes. I always try to make original posts, even when I'm discussing a topic for the 100th time. If I think there is a problem with something someone says, I'd rather try to get people's view on it without injecting my own thoughts. Heck, if I see something wrong, I always try to ask people questions rather than spending all my time constantly proving how bad that thing is. That's why I've asked you a handful of questions so far.
See? Now you get it. You are tailoring your reply to the words of the person you are replying to. I don't think there's anything wrong with telling people to copy oneself. If a person chooses to act a certain way, then they probably have a reason for it. By arguing with others about the best way to post, they get to share that reason, and when people share their reasoning, everyone can benefit. I notice you didn't answer the questions I asked you. Here's another I'm wondering about: do you think it's bad to look down on people? Also, do you have a question you want to ask me?
There's a really cool experiment you can do in a classroom. Fill up a jar with pennies, then have students write their guess for how much is in the jar. Take all the guesses and average them. Most individual guess will be way off, but the average will be very close to truth. If a community is changing preferences, that is a very good indication that the truth of the situation has changed, regardless of each individual's estimations.
