Gentlemen if I could give you one piece of cliche advice it would be thisβ¦
Seriously vet the woman you are going to marry.
Because it will either make you or break you.
Looking back on my bitcoin journey my wife was the undisputed greatest investment I ever made.
Mrs. Hodl
- was cool with us living off her income while I threw all my income into magic internet coins
- lived a meager lifestyle alongside me when we were first married
- said yes to a cheap backyard wedding vs. a fancy expensive one
- was cool with a fake diamond as her wedding ring
- defended my βextremeβ behavior to her family/co-workers
- believed in and trusted my vision
- was not embarrassed by me riding a moped or any of the other weird shit I did lol
- never nagged me about hodling or asked me to sell bitcoin.
Nope.
She was always down to ride from day one.
Not sure I would have been successful with a different woman by my side.
Choose the right one guys, it matters a lot.

You are a legend Hodl, you are the very definition of a bitcoiner and who I strive to be more like. πΆ π«
Iβm just a dude out here making mistakes and learning from them lol you probably already are just like me
Iβm doing what I can π«
Choose the right parents, choose the right wife, and you will not fail. You MIGHT get by screwing up the first one but itβll make things much harder.
π― . Its super important to vet your partner in difficult situations. Fights, how they treat service, kids, people that upset them, animalsβ¦. Itβs not a cliche. my marriage was before btc, but when she got it and hears that btc is down in fiat terms she always says βbuy more β if I use it for something βwhy didnβt you use that fiat shitcoin?β
Yeah.
I back this
Lady Hozzel is the same
And sheβs got great cans
Good Choiceβ¦sheβs a keeper for sure.
Hodl can you create bittinder?
Hahaha
Fucking pajeets.
Parasitic begging is built into their genetics
Strong agree. I definitely dodged some bullets (previous serious relationships) looking back.
Having the right life partner will make or break so much of your happiness or misery.
It really is the difference between a house (life) built on a solid foundation vs sand as you grow older together. Nothing is static so you're either growing together or growing apart
Happy for you man
Also hodl, im transferring my bitcoin to my mom. So Nobody can stop my train!
Choosing the right partner is the highest and best use of anything you will do in life. Your children will posses 50% of her genes.
My wife has consistently pushed me to grow and increase my market value by believing in me when I question myself. @HODL and I both had brilliant wives who helped us lever up our seed corn position. We always lived off one of our salaries and invested the other. Since she is a PHD geneticist she had a great head start. Since I have delusional confidence and sales skills I have found a way to catch up and pass on occasions.
When I discovered Bitcoin my wife implored a stay humble stack sats ethos before it became the norm. She pushed me to go deeper down the rabbit hole and trusted me with a larger position of our net worth than most people could have wrapped their head around. The only question she asked consistently was have you changed your mind or should we grow the position.

Without a doubt, the best investment I've made is in my wife
So much more than money
Indeed, the financial returns stem from the excellent allocation of humanistic and intellectual capital required first
Where are these women at?
Pumpkin patch, farmers market. You know places like that
Mrs Hodl also loves a thick and unruly brow. Much love ser.
Itβs a sign of royalty π₯Έ
A hundred percent!! π― CHOOSE WISELY & TREAT KINDLY! Choosing a partner is single handedly the most important decision one could make.
Only after bringing kids into this world!
Choosing wisely & treating kindly should be implemented on day one long BEFORE bringing kids into the world.
What was the first sign you noticed she was ride or die potential?
Just consistent behavior over time.
This is now the bar - consistency.
we have to make our greatest effort to take care of them, theyβre the best!
(most of the time, theyβre the ones taking care of us, haha)
Bitcoin wives are just built different πͺ

looking for a Bitcoin wife,
Cold wallet, sharp mind.
Find a woman who will respect you even when you're at your lowest point.
This is how a good wife can bring you to the next level. Respect is what gets you to become a better man, a better father, a better worker and earner.
The women that demand that you earn their respect is one you don't want to get involved with, because that's almost always going to be a moving goalpost. It's also a significant divorce risk as the lack of respect is contempt, one of the biggest predictors.

My wife bought $10k of bitcoin on a dare one day as we walked through a park. "Don't think I trust what you're saying about bitcoin? Watch this."
She brought the screen cap up just today to remind me how much she's on-board with the vision.
You are lucky π π
Not only that my friend, your kids need to take after and be raised by a strong solid foundation to become a rebel, critical thinking, freedom fighter of the next generation alongside other STRONG minded kids all over the world. β‘οΈπͺβοΈ
I could not agree more... and it goes with ways...
I lost a million sats in a scam 5 years ago, due to my own ego. Admitted to it immediately and my wife told me to go back and stack sats. That was equivalent to our entire stack at the time. She could have easily told me to stop and go back to fiat but she knew I was onto something bigger. She even told me not to fall for the scam and I did anyway like a dumbass.
She sounds like a good one
Eternal riches and Mrs. Hodl
Couldnβt agree more.
Get the woman right - the rest falls into place.
But choosing a great woman requires becoming a great man.
(It also helps to have a trusted intuitive friend grill your women. Weed out the weak early)
Three of the most important decisions you'll ever make;
Whether or not to follow Jesus
Which career to build
Which woman you'll marry

Great advice.
I know because I really screwed up the first time around but thankfully I was still broke back then.
Marriage is the pinnacle of team sports, but there is no optimum strategy except trying your best every day. The reward is your family, the championship is your family's family.
Once you fall in love, it's hard to check or control anything, you just follow your heart.
And honestly, you need a bit of luck too. When emotions are involved, there's only so much you can influence.
Solid Take, Mr. Hodl! πͺ Verheiratet an einem echten Bitcoin OG? Wahre Liebe ist die beste Investition! π Denkt an eure Freiheit, nicht an die Chains von Fiat & Taxes! π₯ #Bitcoin π #HODL

Incredible
tl;dr Marriage is a code merge. Donβt merge with a shitcoin. Separate consensus from the wallet.

most important decision in life
She reminds me of me. πππ
My husband did a lot of vetting before he found and chose me!
I remember when my husband got into bitcoin after about 1 month of marriage, I came home from work and he seemed a bit nervous as he didn't know how I would react when he wanted to invest in crypto mining equipment that would pay in bitcoin, but he was met with support and understanding. I got it, and I agreed. I didn't need more convincing. I wasn't a pushover, I was on board π
As women, we choose a man whose judgement we trust. Even when we don't fully understand, when we've also vetted, we can trust that our partners have a best interests of the household at heart. π
Well said ππΎ

βMarriage is the end of freedomβ. What a terrible lie. Getting married freed me from a life of selfishness and irresponsibility.
Yes itβs literally the most important decision any man will make.
And to add my own little bit of advice: do NOT take things slow. Iβm not talking physically. You need to be grilling these women with important questions that most men donβt find out until after marriage and it either creates a depressing life or divorce.
Religion, values, morals, goals, financial views, politics, family, do you want kids, how many, are we going to vaccinate them, are you going to cave from other moms pressuring you. Probably should be asking her family similar questions as well.
Got ya a keeper, brother. Salute!
Banger post.
It's funny, as my younger self would've actually laughed at the awkwardness of the statement, but I start to look at all relationships like how you would a business deal. Would you want to partner with someone in business that is shady, bad history, in debt, known to lie or falsify information? Of course not, we can look at some of those questions, but modified slightly in the sense of a romantic, long-term relationship aka marriage. Any red flags you'd spot in a new potential business deal would prevent you from moving forward, but do they in a modern relationship? Usually, no. We settle and become complacent largely due to convenience and proximity.
Stay up, mi bruddas (and sistas)!
As the Bitcoiner in my relationship, I think my husband won the lottery when he married me π
Youbfound a good wife. Not many of those being made these days.
What if youβre already rich? How could you ever possibly know if she loves you for you?
remind me in 20 years
Inspirational. What specific qualities/strategies did you identify that were effective?
Makes me think about the Bronx Tale Door Test lol.
Less gimmicky. Life isnβt a movie. I just observed her to be a good person who I could trust over time consistently.
Yea I actually had a reversal of that where a chick jumped into a lake for my hat and wound up being a shitty person so I ended it.
Point is there is a way to identify a good woman like your wife without spending years and I am just looking for wisdom on that front.
Canβt help ya, I always take the long winding path in life lol
I feel like that takes discernment. You may not be religious or Christian even, but the Bible does have a lot of wisdom on the front.
The question is: Where do you find such a woman?
Romance isn't dead, it (and its values) just moved onto the chain.
Imagine marrying. What a cuck. Trust Andrew tate not trump

Bruh you wrote this, like you just got out of the doghouse.... Naw just playing man. This is a beautiful way to honor your wife, if a man doesn't speak like this about their wife, they definitely got the wrong one.
,
Exactly bro. When I talk to you I want you to tell me your kids are the greatest kids in the whole world, your wife is the greatest wife in the whole world. It doesnβt come off as bragging to me, just the sign of a man whoβs proud and content.
thats some serious advice right there
I felt too scared and weird to go βall inβ on BTC until I got married. Wife isnβt into BTC at all, but was just generally kind and supportive and that made all the difference for me.
I got it right the second time

Damn Iβve been here. During the CCP Virus lockdowns, I was laid off, and THEN got appendicitis and was bed ridden while we had a 2 year old girl and another on the way. SHE floated the family on her investments.
She didnβt slit my throat when I was learning to throat sing and basically gurgling weird noises all day every day for 3 months straight until I got it down.
You get a lot of (deserved) criticism of entitled feminist narcissist bitches, but not enough praise for good women like this.
