Primal has censored all my comments where I argued against supporting regime change in Venezuela (except one) under one of their developers posts, advocating for regime change
Nobody should use this company and they should be considered hostile to the protocol

i see all your posts on primal

Its not ALL my posts. Its specifically targeting posts criticizing US regime change in Venezuela
For instance, I have dozens of comments under this primal developers post. Do you see more than the two?
"I see all your posts"
Posts the exact top of my profile lmao excellent research there
i see that tooβ¦

Yes, that is the one comment I was referring to it showing previously lol
And even if it wasnt, numerous other people verified it didnt load on primal
What does it matter if they quietly fixed it after I made a stink about it?
Oh lemme guess, youre an investor lmao
i donβt hide that fact, nor the fact that im heavily involved in development of primal
what are the noteids or nevents of the βcensored notesβ
Dude look through my posts, I provided all of that. And others verified it also didnt load for them.
Your investment is a danger to the protocol
it's irrelevant if they censored this guy or not
what matters is that they can
Yea Im convinced by what I saw, but that is absolutely the real issue. Sacrificing censorship resistance for UX (and presumably compliance) is a slippery slope that you cant just "use another client" away. Although thankfully we always have that power. I certainly dont use them myself, I never even would have known if others didnt bring it to my attention that these posts werent loading on primal
Then it only took a second of looking at primal to realize the pattern
Bc you dont interface w an app? You rely direct from your computer to nostr? Im guessing theres patriot act interference at thr app store level
I doubt its like that, although theyll get there.
I personally think its just a primal developer(s) that fell for Gladsteins lazy regime change propaganda, so they removed my relevant posts/comments from their caching server
Using a centralized server sided instance defeats the purpose of a decentralized platform. I don't know if they actually censor your stuff or not since I don't use them for this exact point of failure. Using decentral clients with a decent amount of relays prevents it entirely. I can see every post in the thread you linked.
I just compared your posts on Primal and Damus for the last week and they match. You need to provide screenshots as proof.
Follow the comments. Other people verified and confirmed, the issue was there until somebody manually rebroadcast those notes to Primals caching server. I dont really care if you believe me or not lol
Nostr is absolutely not censorship-resistant, but it's your own fault for using Primal. You might as well have posted that on BlueSky.
Read before commenting lol I dont use Primal. And nostr is absolutely censorship resistant if done properly. You can always run your own relay if needed

Have you read Primal's ToS or policy?
Ah i was wonder how long it would take for this to happen.
Just logged into Primal, I'm seeing all your posts. It seems like that'd be an odd topic to have one off censorship on. Do you think there's a chance that they just failed to broadcast to the Primal relay, and now that people are talking about it, they've been re-broadcast? I believe you when you say they were missing earlier, but it doesn't look like anything's being actively censored (from what I can see anyway).
Thats covered in the comments. They likely removed the relevant notes from their caching server (primal reads notes from there, not relays), so their users werent able to see it. Then they were rebroadcat and now theyre available. Everything is visible now, but multiple people confirmed these notes wouldnt load specifically in primal
And I dont think it sounds a weird topic at all to censor if youre a shirtless Primal surfer bro dev thats easily susceptible to propaganda, and you think youre doing something good by making it to your users cant see this "dangerous information"
So something is *definitely* up
I did a speed test and I'm at a 290 Mbps but (1) your profile isn't loading without hiccups (2) I tried to like a post of your's 6 times before it appeared (3) for some reason, the relays are surely slower.
I'm guessing it's coz I'm also on Primal?
An asynchronous network of ad hoc relays might just appear to be censoring you β¦ for a bit
