Imma be excited when someone eventually jailbreaks the iPad so you can put Linux on it. Same chip as the Macs so why not?

Because even the supported, more accessible and better documented M1-2 SoCs are lagging behind with features and port support missing, while M3/4 aren't on the horizon yet for Asahi Linux. iPads are in an even worse spot because so few root them.
