This reminds me. At a β€œNAPE+Bitcoin” meetup a couple weeks ago, I ran into a couple guys building behind the meter bitcoin mining rigs to capture their flared gas. They were hilarious. When they found out I was on #nostr one of the guys β€œwell I’ll be! Welcome to the table and GFY!” All of us busted out laughing, and I felt so loved πŸ˜‚πŸ«‚
It's too bad there's no video recording of this, because I was speaking on the cyberpunk stage, but at #BH2023 I said that if Bitcoin was "fuck you money", then Nostr was "fuck you communication". The audience seemed to really enjoy that 🀣 This will always be true. Nostr allows you to do and say whatever you want. It's truly permissionless.

A good β€œFuck You” is healthy for everyone. For the spoken and the spoken too. I can only speak for my own experience, but I appreciate the humor, the bluntness, the engaged self-reflection, and the thicker skin that a good β€œfuck you, blow me” inspires, IN ME, both when I receive it and speak it. Maybe not for everybody. In the US, this is a big culture divide between East/West Coast. As a born NY, a real β€œfuck you” makes me feel a little warm and fuzzy inside. It makes me smile. πŸ˜πŸ–•πŸΌ

I wish the FY posts would replace all the GM posts. GM is such low effort, at least the FY posts may require a couple sentences? Don't get me wrong, I want to love all the NOSTriches on here and give them all a feel good pellet but there is so much to share and learn aside from GM.
