I see a popular account is doing numbers this morning by copying and pasting someone else’s joke, and the replies defending her include the greatest hits of the genre.

If you don’t believe credit for saying it is important, why did you spend four times as much effort to copy and paste it into a new post rather than just hitting the boost button?
