Newly released video shows a man driving his vehicle into the entrance of the Chabad Lubavitch World Headquarters at 770 Eastern Parkway in Brooklyn, New York. The driver is seen exiting the vehicle and being taken into custody. No injuries have been reported at this time.

New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani said he was at the 770 Chabad World Headquarters in Crown Heights after a man intentionally and repeatedly drove his car into the building. “I’m relieved that no one was injured in this horrifying incident,” Mamdani said, calling the attack deeply alarming given the site’s history and significance to Jewish communities in New York and around the world. He stressed that any threat to a Jewish institution or place of worship must be taken seriously, adding that antisemitism has no place in the city and that violence or intimidation against Jewish New Yorkers is unacceptable. Mamdani said he stands in solidarity with the Crown Heights Jewish community, thanked first responders for their swift action, and pledged to keep New Yorkers informed as more details emerge.
