If you think satoshi was in his basement and never came out. Watch the first 20 minutes of this. Satoshi was clearly from the government what branch no one will ever know. Just watch it the first 20 minutes.

I don't think the reason he gave was ironclad. Its a pretty good indication, though. I remember people talking about things being backdoor'd years before bitcoin was invented. People knew the NSA runs Tor exit nodes too. Also the SHA-2 algorithms were known to the public - there was a big fight to keep them public that was partially fought in court and partially fought by techy people wearing them printed on t-shirts and going on international flights, which made them walking violations of arms control, since encryption algorithms were classified as armaments. Someone in my family actually did that, so I know it actually happened.
I'd be wary of any narrative starting to form about Satoshi being in the government. Davinci Jeremy is probably sincere, but the narrative is convenient for the government. They would gain by convincing people that there was a conspiracy, therefore bitcoin bad, or by creating a case they can legally use against bitcoiners.
If one day life makes this possible, i would love to sit with you talking about bitcoin and smoking some great weed because you know more about it than 99% of people here.
