#Meshtastic all over again. Please stop selling people 100 yards coverage or internet dependence as emergency comms. If I really need emergency comms with an internet outage it isn't like my next door neighbor in the apartment complex isn't also fucked. I honestly can't tell if it is willful harm or complete ignorance of what a real emergency looks like at this point. Either way, you have a big platform @jack and it comes with a moral responsibility to do better.

I think the hams are loving it too. Could probably lead to a way to invest / buy in to local site infrastructure? Someone will find which dots to connect.

They likely used geohash due to being public domain, instead of the proprietary what three words. Similar concepts though, there are others as well.
