the problem is that there are other options in the environment. just like someone wouldn’t go into a restaurant that serves many foods and ask for a “slice,” in a transactional environment where multiple currencies exist the customer is incentivized to expressly communicate with the server that they want “pizza”

What an awesome comparison! I used it in school right now to explain to kids why changing the unit of account is totally useless and is not changing anything other than creating confusion xD they loved your example!
