I don't like massive influx of illegal immigrants but when I see feds disarming a man who was exercising his 1st and 2nd amendment and then shooting him 9 times I don't like the direction we are heading. That is tyranny. If it was Biden Fed's doing that to Kyle Rittenhouse, there would have been a few thousand men open carring automatic rifles at the next set of protests. The government accrues power along partisan lines but when the line switches they don't rescind those powers. Trump is exercising the power to execute US citizens for protesting. When the President changes that precedent will stand. Obama didn't roll back any of Bush's overreaches despite his crows against it while senator. If an extremist Dem takes over next, they will start issuing executive orders and ignoring courts, fulfilling every liberals wet dreams. They will send armed agents in to gun down protestors. The enemy is always the state. The US Republic was formed in part as an idea on how to limit the States power. The State has fought long and hard against our founding documents and little by little has been eroding the principles that once guided our nation. There are more effective ways to tackle illegals. They could raid every major hotel and farm. They could halt all remittances or put exorbitant taxes on them. This would cause massive pain to the immigrant community. The US government has emmense power at it's disposal. They decided to use that power for spectacle and to own the libs.

Small aside, ICE are actually the more reasonable of the two agencies tackling immigration. In most cases it has been the CBP agents, under the direction of Gregory Bovino, who have been acting out of control. Trump has reacted to this situation and ordered Bovino to stand down in Minnesota, allowing Tom Homan to take over the operation. Homan is no softie when it comes to immigration enforcement but unlike Bovino and Steven Miller, he would rather focus on criminal illegals. He is also more cognizant of how to balance public opinion vs the actions of the Government.
