Is there not a way to make zap workflows outside of the apps as a user-defined workflow? Just like nsecBunker is an inbound workflow for a client, we could have outbound workflows. It could be called anything. A user could kick a workflow, outside of the app, by clicking a button on a note, if he wants that workflow to zap the author then fine, but it could be something else such as tag it in a community (nostr.kiwi). After all, nostrβs strength is interoperability βΊοΈ. No?
Kinda like this zapplepay.com ?
Exactly
Stop making shit for Apple
They got good hardware and really missing their user base would hurt nostr adoption no?
See @Zapple Pay and View quoted note β
Did they provide an explanation for the reason? Is it because they canβt tax it or due to other concerns?
Throwing out apple products like

I just zapped you from my Iris.to web client on my Safari browser and thereβs nothing Apple can do about it.
π€£ π€£ π€£ Fuck Apple.
At least you iOS folks now have Zapple Pay as a workaround.

They'll change their mind within a year.
Otherwise, forgoing Bitcoin adoption and choosing to rely on legacy system monies will be their undoing.
Adopt or die scenario.
Add Zapplepay.
Fuck βem!
Jerks. Was only a matter of time based on the past few weeks unfortunately.
But Why? π‘
Apple insists on getting a cut (usually 30%) of all payments that use its platform
Lightning isn't Apple's platform.
Yeah, I'm certainly not defending them. They are exploiting their monopolist chokepoint to exclude any payment platform other than the one they can control and take 30%
I was hoping the new DMA law in Europe would force them to allow alternate in-app payment, but it seems they still might insist on getting a cut, and probably wanting it in standard currencies, not in any blockchain currency

For which product?
bruh
Sadly, it's the danger of building a business on top of the business of someone else... they own you. Still, I hope Apple will finish to understand the potential of Bitcoin for them too.
Then you don't update. xD
I guess it was a matter of time.
This is an achievement actually.
Congrats king π
Bummer. I suppose that's eventually coming for all the zap-enabled apps. Still, frustrating.
So are bitcoiners gonna ditch apple yet or keep using permissioned services?
Fuc# em!
Is that because apple doesn't have a wallet to take their 30%? π€π
