Yeah, I gave up. Nostr only, much better use of time.
You were your usual retarded self on the wbd pod. Throughly enjoyed π€
Nostr may not actually be a representative sample of all of humanity.
But it might be, and you should totally enjoy your bubble.
At the very least humanity is definitely not as bad as twitter, facebook, instagram, or tiktok's algorithms would make it seem.
And it turns out that humans who self select for private property and free speech aren't actually all hate mongering oppressors, despite what you may have heard, and really just sort of tend to be pretty chill folk that respect your right to do what you want with your things and your thoughts.
Deleted X as soon as I discovered Nostr. X runs on outrage. Nostr runs on signal. The algorithm feeds division because that sells ads. When you remove that incentive, people actually act like humans again.
That's conviction, respect π

Welcome, king

Twitter is Jesuit big time. That's how it works, and people game the Jesuit algorithms to divide, so the Jesuits can conquer.

π
Should do the same
Just do it π

@npub16axv...rvmk Sorry what do you mean X runs on outage? Iβm a noob to all this. Thank you!!
What i meant is that X, like any other social media, promotes posts that make people angry and emotionally reactive. Outrage gets attention.People comment, share, and argue and their activity keeps users on the platform longer
Yes makes total sense! Thank you!
I unfortunately have to keep it to tell people about Nostr.
Smart move fam
Agreed, but to be fair, if we had the mass of people on here that are on the bigger platforms, it would change.
I always push back a little against working on nostr for growth's sake.
Maybe it should be harder to be on here. Maybe we should be a little exclusive. Maybe we shouldn't want everyone.
There were far less people on the Cypherpunk Mailing List, and that list changed the world.
What we really want is to be the place for creative people, for those are the people that give more than they take.
Are you writing a book?
Are you coding a client?
Are you cooking a fantastic dinner?
That is who I want in my web of trust.
Love this. But one thought: if there was the same volume of users on Nostr as X, but you only followed 500, then in theory you donβt see, interact, get clickbaited by the others. The user designs their own experience on Nostr, rather being fed one
Exactly π―
I am editing a book I've written called, "How to Build Deeply Authentic Relationships with Yourself and People" to be released relatively soon, and sell my books for sats at
Fika Time Books.com – Books for personal growth
Your rant from ~18min-~20min mark was GOLD in that podcast this week with HODL and Marty

The Wrathful βΏuddha
There's a striking difference between X & Nostr.
X had an addictive element, probably due to the algorithm. Tweets seem to go into the ether unless you have a sizeable following or get retweeted by someone who has.
Nostr feels quieter for sure and its taken me a while to get my head into it but mostly to push past that lack of algorithmic stimulus.
Much like Bitcoin there's a certain proof of work element and you get out what you put in. The discussions and insights I've gained here are second to none. They are authentic and stimulating in a good way - ethnically & spirituality.
There's less hate and more hope.
Refreshing.

And there is more proof of work.
Yes, correct
I try to avoid Twitter tbh
Our attention is our greatest resource
The capital allocation decision of our day
And the value I get out of Nostr each day genuinely enriches me
People care
They respond with respect and value
The sharing of opinions, view points, experience
Much like what meeting in person is actually like
Never been more bullish on Nostr
Nostr's not exactly pristine. We got Nazis/socialists in one corner and Ortho Bros in another, and they pick fights constantly if you look for it, though unfortunately not with each other.
On Nostr, you get what you're looking for and what you accept.
I don't accept you blaming me for other people's behavior. Why am I still getting it?
No chance youβre going around picking fights? In a year of being on Nostr you were the first person to βpick a fightβ with me a few days ago.
Defending another person is not picking a fight. They chose not to fight back, so someone else had to. Since I was the random person to see it, it was my job to do it.
A dead man didnβt show up on Nostr to defend himself so you had to? You didnβt defend anything or anyone. You made baseless claims, refused to back your claims, accused me of judging you, called my religion trash, then ran. Picking a fight then loosing doesnβt mean the other person picked the fight.
False, all of it. But it appears fate doesn't want you corrected at this time. I wrote a long response, then tried editing it, but hit the "request deletion" instead.
Keep picking fights, ortho bro.
Are you trolling? Everything I stated about our interaction is absolutely true, the notes are still there, and you still havenβt backed a single one of your claims. Iβm out π«‘
Go reread it then. Pretend you're not you.
I'll say it again - I don't owe you anything. You don't get to have any of my work. That's not how this works. And calling a person a "dead man" does not make it okay attack him.
Some guy on tiktok was talking about twitter and he said "so twitter is in PvP mode now, the algorithm will only show you people you disagree with"
And I went on twitter yesterday, the first time in weeks looking for a source for something.
Anyway, I decided to scroll and my feed was literally all pro Israel and pro core 30 and a shitload of gaslighting and propaganda from the Australian government and all the pedophiles praising Donald Trump.
And like, that was my entire feed.
Just those 4 things, all of it aimed at getting me to react and waste time on their platform arguing with people.
Pretty much the same thing that Facebook has been doing for a couple years now
Not at all:
it just shows that high IQ people (who have moved to NOSTR because theyβre early adopters) are nicer
π€²

Tried Twitter for two months. It was damaging my brain. Deleted it. Now Iβm mentally ill at the state of the world on my own terms lol.
I was just telling a couple friends of mine the same thing. I've enjoyed nostr and am thinking about leaving X entirely.
Welcome to the fledgling birth of Bitcoin freedom culture of honor and love.

It's toxic, as simple as that.
People for the most part want to feel safe. They feel that way by showing respect because they have an expectation it will be reciprocated. Its actually crazy how much has changed. The medicine is freedom and an open internet. The snake oil is censorship.

You know come to think of it, Iβm never stressed on Nostr whereas on X Iβm always telling myself; let it be, itβs not worth it to every ragebait
NOSTR as a philanthropic engine. A dream?
You do seem very angry when Iβve heard you speakβ¦
Maybe ditch the program? It only remains because people using it, stop using it and it magically disappears.
Weβre gonna win
That's a nice take :)
If I am ever feeling good about the world and decide I need some anger and hate in my life, I go and fire up the old Xitter for a couple of minutes.
Or because people on Nostr only talks about things that don't really matter that much.
On X, they major in minors that people think matter.
On Nostr, we major in meaning others on X don't realize are significant.
Make a few posts about the renewable energy piece of βresearchβ and itβs all I see in the feed. But then, limit my rage bate reading to when Iβm in a fiat mine and already annoyed. π«‘π
Especially when we've decided we want good for humanity.
Agree.. Xitter amplifies outrage, Nostr amplifies authenticity.
When you remove the algorithmic manipulation, you see that most people are actually kind, curious, and creative. Humanity isnβt broken, the algorithms are.
Depression high and dopamine fried every time I go on X
Yes.

Iβm always impressed at just how dark the shithole of ragebaiting Xitter is, and just how nice Nostr really is.

I can't believe this stupid Nostr echo chamber. Erik Cason the fucking ultimate toxic pleb has put flowers in his hair and is giving free hugs.
All the while Coretards have turned Bitcoin into free cloud storage for spammers. And we are all fine here and it's Xitters fault that people are 'ragebaiting'. GFY Erik!!!
At least people at Xitter are willing to stand up and to fight for Bitcoin.
Have a nice nap here!!!

Yes, thata why i deleted X and now i am only on nostr.
Hello, care to chat?
I go on there and itβs just death and hatred
Nostr is the way

Nostr is pure signal. Love the vibes. Everyone can agree to disagree and be in harmony.
Iβve left twitter for about a year now. I reacted in depth to something concerning my profession wherein I have 20 years experience. The amount of hate I received just for raising a critical view was unbelievable.
