Nostr's not exactly pristine. We got Nazis/socialists in one corner and Ortho Bros in another, and they pick fights constantly if you look for it, though unfortunately not with each other.
On Nostr, you get what you're looking for and what you accept.

Defending another person is not picking a fight. They chose not to fight back, so someone else had to. Since I was the random person to see it, it was my job to do it.

Some guy on tiktok was talking about twitter and he said "so twitter is in PvP mode now, the algorithm will only show you people you disagree with"
And I went on twitter yesterday, the first time in weeks looking for a source for something.
Anyway, I decided to scroll and my feed was literally all pro Israel and pro core 30 and a shitload of gaslighting and propaganda from the Australian government and all the pedophiles praising Donald Trump.
And like, that was my entire feed.
Just those 4 things, all of it aimed at getting me to react and waste time on their platform arguing with people.
Pretty much the same thing that Facebook has been doing for a couple years now

Tried Twitter for two months. It was damaging my brain. Deleted it. Now Iβm mentally ill at the state of the world on my own terms lol.
I was just telling a couple friends of mine the same thing. I've enjoyed nostr and am thinking about leaving X entirely.

Or because people on Nostr only talks about things that don't really matter that much.
