Slightly misleading. After careful review of the author posting history, @communitynotes was able to determine that the author was “mildly self-satisfied and board-line smug” rather than “glad” as his post suggests after discovering Nostr.
"The worse, the better." We (free folk) can talk, explain and argue, but the real change comes after you feel the consequences by yourself. People will never leave the golden cage at masses, till there is plenty in it. It is very cynic, but I don't believe in talkings and arguments anymore. Only real incentives (and pain) matters. The more pain etatists inflict on the people, the more they (the people) will understand how important the freedom is. It's sad, there is a lot of misery we have to yet endure to learn this lesson as a civilisation. - They won't use (even know about) Nostr until their freedom of speech isn't taken away. - They won't use Bitcoin, until their freedom to transact isn't taken away. - They won't arm and learn to fight until their loved once's aren't thrown in jail an theirs freedom isn't taken away completely. *"Till then, they will vote and elect their masters, oblivious to the revelation that they don't need one.**
