Fountain 1.1 with #nostr is now live on iOS and Android! Why Nostr? We regularly hear from both listeners and podcasters that the social features in Fountain are a great way to discover content that's worth listening to. When you support a podcast, or comment on an episode, your message is surfaced to your followers in the Fountain home feed and anyone that sees these can add the content to their library. But this came with a few problems. When you first start using Fountain you wouldn't have any followers so your posts wouldn't get seen. If you wanted to share something you were listening to, you had to choose between leaving a comment on Fountain, or sharing on another social platform. I installed fountain, connected it to my nostr address. Attempted to import my podcast subscriptions via OPML. It seemed to work. Once. I went off to do something else and did not test it. When I reopened fountain my library was empty. Further attempts to import failed. My device runs GrapheneOS. I see some refererence in the FAQs to certain functions not working on GrapheneOS.

This is cool, but you should really focus more on aligning with the people most likely to use your service before adding new features. Closed Source: Pass Google Play: Pass I see what you're doing and it looks neat but I'm not actually going to use it. Maybe I'm a minority, but that seems to be changing. You can add all the features you want, but it won't make a difference to people like me.
