The age of #permission is over. The age of #freedom has already begun. However, the years ahead are full of #darkness and the only light will emerge through #freedomtechnology. Both show a lack of intellectual curiosity (at best) and (more likely) a toxic attachment to the status quo that will keep a large number of people from a proactively better life, until they desperately, reactively choose it because they need it, or (at worst) an intentional desire to block something that is a threat to their own position of power or control.
Lopp ( @Jameson Lopp) asked him the question i was wondering when i read that: shutting Bitcoin service providers or outright mining bans doesnt kill the network. Seems to be making a case around censorship resistance and PoW. Was surprised because i thought he had a solid history of Bitcoin-only advocacy

Matt i’m right with you fuck X However Yes I’d rather use Apple Pay with fiat than spend the hardest money ever made I know that wasn’t your point I’m just ranting It doesn’t seem smart to spend a scarce asset that only goes up over the long term on any significant purchase Why wouldn’t a person just use fiat So yes Im all for freedom tech But I won’t be convinced to spend my bitcoin in the name of freedom tech Like “hey you own a scarce asset that will only go up over the long term spend it on discretionary items to stick it to the system” No thanks life changing event major life upgrade then fine I get it Bullshit … why? So yes .. I still want my Apple Pay and my Freedom

We also know that there are still very few of us, less than one percent, we know that most of us are not government officials or military, we know that we do not have weapons, so we try to be anonymous, but not all of us do everything we need to be safe. And we also know that we are not understood, that they do not understand what we are talking about until we explain it for an hour, that some people think we are strange, aliens, or worse, cultists. Doesn't this remind you of anything?!! I think that when we think like this, we harm ourselves, we dig our own grave. We have to stop doing this. Because now is the moment when everything has to change. We need to get out of our rabbit hole as soon as possible, create more simple instructions and involve as many people as possible... and preferably, these people should be "them". We need to stop separating money and the state, us and them. Otherwise, they will declare war on us, and you yourself write about it. Let's go to all governments with books, let's create programs for them. Let's create our future world without any wars. Let us become them.
