This is the current state of Manhattan on @BTC Map and it doesnโ€™t look pretty. Only three actual locations that accept bitcoin - the rest are ATMs. So hereโ€™s the call to action for NYC bitcoiners: orange pill your local restaurants and cafes, and letโ€™s #FillTheMapNYC ! @The Daniel ๐Ÿ–– may or may not be cooking up something that will make accepting bitcoin a whole lot easier ๐Ÿ‘€ More to comeโ€ฆ image

You've muted me in the past, so it's silly to waste time pointing out what's wrong with your reply as if you care, but this has nothing to do with what I said. Don't say you accept Bitcoin if you only accept lightning. That's not accepting Bitcoin, that's accepting lightning. Very simple. My preference for businesses that accept Bitcoin might seem silly to you, but that doesn't make it OK to lie.
I muted you because you are a broken record, and itโ€™s annoying to read your constant complaints. Thereโ€™s no reason to accept on-chain payments for retail. Bitcoin as a medium of exchange needs instant confirmation and settlement. Before you accuse someone of lying, maybe try getting some experience with the subject matter.
I have experience with the subject matter, but it doesn't take much to spot the lie, so that's not even relevant - just like your initial reply. You're making me repeat this: you might find my preference for Bitcoin-accepting businesses silly, but that doesn't make it OK to lie. I'll also add that it doesn't make it OK to escalate the lying to gaslighting and harassing me. Back on muting-me you go, little bitch
Thatโ€™s not my definition of retail. Just like how most people donโ€™t buy a car every day. For large transactions they will still choose to use financing, pay in installments, or as a lump sum. On-chain is fine for that because it doesnโ€™t matter if it takes a little while. But if youโ€™re standing in like to buy a taco, it doesnโ€™t make any sense at all.
