Terrible teachers. Good teachers don't need to make threats

That was just mental conditioning to ensure that you understood the severity of your actions. So that way when you grew up you would comply with the laws and submit to authority. With the full knowledge that what you do will affect your future should you break the rules. Overall a a double edged sword lesson in my opinion. On the one side it did teach a good life lesson that allows you to function in modern society. Even if it was an outright lie about the importance of your school records. On the other side it teaches students how to blindly follow authority and rules. Without ever considering whether, or not they are morally just and deserve to be followed. In conclusion. Fuck public and private schools. Homeschool only. Self teach yourself any skills you desire to learn like a boss instead.
