users should have healthier relationships with the apps they use
apps that prioritize user health can still be quite profitable, it is just a harder path

when it’s paired with advertising, yes, i agree with you.
A tool is only as good as how you use it. If an app expands your knowledge or improves your life, high engagement isn’t a bad thing. But if it’s engineered just to keep you scrolling for profit, that’s when it becomes a problem.

Where's the "I love Nostr" metric. In their hearts, I bet many people hate the apps they use lol maybe a high percentage of nostr users love it

İt was one of the best decide for me after quiting tobacco, turning off phone between 10 pm and 10 am.
I think all social media is about addiction, needing the dopamine hit from likes, reposts, followers.
God forbid you spend time being productive or more importantly time with the family rather than chasing dragons on Nostr.
