I like the idea that this could be a great option for our family and circle of friends. Getting them into Nostr would be amazing. Shit I’m becoming a maximalist.

Why doesn’t @0xchat have a lot of users? It already has this functionality plus a built in ecash wallet and nostr following feed.

I still believe that forking Telegram's original clients is the best approach. The polished micro-interactions in the UI would take a significant amount of time to replicate.
