Sounds like they are pushing for similar in 2028 for US. You can’t find them in hardware stores, online only. When you ask for them, people look at you like you’re crazy for the most part.

I'm in Canada... I can go to town to any dollar store or gas station general store and buy them. Easy to get.

Only 40w and under. 60w and up are illegal now. They sell halogen, but they're not the same

They use too much power. Living in a tiny solar powered cabin, it was just a waste to run incandescent bulbs. With LEDs I didn't have to worry much at all. I do have a few in my on grid normal house now though... I like to feel the warmth they give when sitting at my desk.
