I will give anyone a fat zap if they can find me a double blind placebo controlled comparative study on any vaccine ever created that shows a significant benefit.

Smallpox.
30% fatality rate. No cases since 1977 due to vaccination.
So effective that we no longer have to vaccinate for it. The only place it exists is in research labs in a couple of countries.
Here's the fun part. When they say placebo when it comes to vaccines, they mean another vaccine that has a long establishled harm rate, not saline. Makes the one in trial look far less harmful by comparison then it is.
