Interesting… if they launch it, it proves the old financial system is desperate. Time for decentralized money. Bitcoin just became even more relevant.

I'm old enough to remember that one time Chinese leadership chose Silver over Gold as the foundational layer of their monetary system. It set them back 200 years. They are doing it again.
