I actually dropped the anime when I first watched it due to the endless 8 haha

He posted a gif from suzumiya haruhi no yuutsu. There's a block with 8 episodes where the characters go through the same events I don't remember how many thousands of times, and you're forced to sit and watch 8 episodes where the story is 90% the same, but the graphics vary.
