I would remove the emoji button if you made it an option. I use zaps as a 'like' button anyway. Boost and zap is all I need.
I like about the reactions, that it is about expressing my emotion to the post.
I didn't say anything about your use of them did I? I said I would remove them in my settings. I don't use them. I have no issue with other people using them. They are just a useless distraction in my UI.

Most I’ve given (mostly due to limited sats as I just joined #nostr ) is 1k
Smallest I’ve given is 24 (off top of my head)
I like that list…I also think that maybe we haven’t wrapped our heads around absolute scarcity and future purchasing power

1 Sat = 1$ ( when 1 Sat = 2$? !!! )

While the trend may be moving that direction, that is ~1636x from where we currently are.
1 sat = $2 in theory is 2x that…
Issue is it’s a multi variable equation because the math I just presented assume the fiat value against which we are measuring also remains constant…which it is not.
That’s why a lot of #btc maxi’s (but not exclusively #bitcoin hard liners) are proponents of
1 BTC = 1 BTC
And thus
1 sat = 1 sat
I think that is how we must begin to think about value because then it truly is exponential and not detrimental.
To your point; 1 sat probably will equate to multiples when measured in fiat.
Personally I hope to be off the fiat train at that point…but it will be tricky depending on the current unknowns .
I haven’t yet dove into full on self custody of energy for example…still have to pay fiat for the electricity 🤪

I'd argue that you should only Zap Empathy that is Immutable. Otherwise, you promote Fake Empathy at no cost.
Nostr is not Bitcoin which gains Immutable Truth at a cost. Nostr and Bitcoin are similar but different, so different asks are required because.
