Exciting times.
Someone needs to teach lay people about Nostr and big figures on Twitter need to direct Brazilians to Nostr and produce content here.
On Twitter, most people only talk about VPN and posts about Nostr there have very low visibility.
Some things don't change alone, people don't understand alone, we need to help them.
What is there to teach? Download a client -> click next next next -> search for people you want to follow and that's it! It's exactly the same as Twitter.
Techy people can search and learn the details. Normal people don't have to.
People aren't on #Nostr for only two possible reasons:
1) Inertia
2) Not enough network effect
Teach on initial impulse.
The rest is very easy, but there is a greater initial awkwardness in using Nostr compared to other social networks.
So, inertia.
