Bluesky is DOA.

Imagine having to get an invite to use a social media app. Lmao.

My hypothesis is that nostr is being positioned to do the heavy lifting of monetary transactions for sites that use the AT Protocol (and the open web in general), & that Damus is somewhat the equivalent prototypical demonstration for Nostr that Bluesky is for AT.

Do you foresee the BlueSky protocol replacing NOSTR?

For what it’s worth, your compass focus point has always been abt the people. I think the more decentralised AT Protocol gets, the better it going to be for Bluesky. I wrote here on how decentralisation reduces extremism and brings positive change and balance to society (sorry, long).
