Have no comparison to twitter, but I've learned almost nothing about how bitcoin works here, if that's what they are getting at.

i guess not talking about what the state wants us talk about is now considered shallow

@jb55 you probably have much better discussions than most other nostriches, because everyone follows you. Most people are hard to be found & as a consequence have less engagement within their niche(s). Personalize discovery of relevant discussions would be a great feature to level up. I would say their discussion is shallow... Why? Because they are talking about crypto and that's not what the signal is.

It's a stupid comment, for sure. Ridiculous actually. Nostr is great. But you build on Apple. 🙄 I find it hard to take you seriously because of that. Come to the dark side. Linux and open source are waiting for you. That said... I appreciate the work you have done.

I wasn't around for the beginning of internet or social media, but I have to imagine this is par for the course. Early adopters are... early adopters. Some of us just want to hang out, before everything blows up and gets crazy.

Yesterday someone on Telegram said that he was on Bluesky, and they called him a Nazi for loving Nostr. Shallow Nazis, apparently we are.
