I think facts say, that since the full invasion in 2022 the russian forces never stoped attacking, while russia agreed for dozens of ceasfire agreements.
Russia used every opportunity to come for peace talks, while not com iting no action towards peace on the battlefield.
What more does one need to see, to evaluate putins reputation when it comes to peace talks?
