Honest question, is there a difference between dying for things you say; vs dying to physically protect yourself or those who are being forcefully oppressed from having a voice? Probably since the beginning of mankind, there has been a psycho somewhere willing to kill somebody just because they are β€œdifferent”. Meaning, to the original post, could it not be said that everyone who dies, say in a war, both sides, are dying to protect β€œfreedom of speech”.
100%. Over the past 48 hours, I've been feeling so antsy in a call of action sort of way. I want to actively go out and do things to help protect free speech. Other than be honest and call out ridiculous beliefs that friends and family spout about gun ownership or freedom of speech, and voting for politicians who support these two important things, I'm unsure what else to do.
