Ok. Well when traveling to China most people take an empty phone so it doesn’t get copied. Now I guess I’ve got to do the same for UK. I’m assuming Europe is the same. Thanks for the warning.

Does it require them to physically have access to the device or can it extract within a certain range without the person knowing?

Under the UK’s Police, Crime, Sentencing and Courts Act 2022 and accompanying codes of practice, police can extract data from devices in specific circumstances.
