True. Most people who are practicing self awareness are actually trying to detach from social media apps. Most will find much more value and purpose in other protocols built on top of Nostr.
Connecting and forging relationships is so much more than just socializing on a platform , itโs a way of life , peace, joy, and a future.

Wish I had a private key controlled private vault to store whatever I wanted in one place. Documents, photos, contacts, passwords even.
You could just setup a NAS and encrypt the drive?
Finally! Someone openly acknowledges this! ๐ Social media seems like a bunch of people posting reiterations of the same stuff. It can get boring fast AF! Kinda glad I ignored it for all these years until Nostr came along.
At @The Nostr Report we built our website to be a landing page for the Report and introduce people to nostr. It was very simple and at first, we plugged everything in manually.
Now it actually uses the nostr protocol to update itself. I hardly ever have to mess with the code, because everything from the embed to the archived Reports are pulled from nostr and linked to your favorite client.
I can imagine this being the future of blogs, news, and several other websites like that. The content itself is decentralized over relays and available to everyone from any client, while the website is just there to offer styling that fit the brand and make your content easier to find.
why and how so?

What about a game that somehow leverages nostr?
Card games would be perfect.
Each turn in a card game changes the field to a degree and produces a new state; a frame in the entirity of the game.
I have already thought of something by using my knowledge of libocgcore, a C implementation of YuGiOh TCG.
There's definitively something there ;)
I was thinking something like risk, where you can kind of bet an amount of sats prior to game start, and then battle it out turn based over the course of a few days.
Same could be done for chess or something as well I guess.
Dunno if or how it'd be possible. I'm no coder.

Social media apps will be what help to promote the other apps and thus have a significant importance imo.
How about making #nostr or #Bitcoin only dedicated OS for android and pc only because I don't think its worth jailbreaking iPhones. Does it sounds impossible?๐คฃ

dont agree, the social space has a lot of exploring to do especially blending chat and threads together, topics, communities
for when BlueSky? Twitter is dying (no more chronological timeline) and Nostr still needs time for a good ux. Now would be the best time to release it to the public.
But need to help ppl on the freedom. Not everyone knows bitcoin for exemple

You do realise you have used nostr like Twitter. There are no notes from your side, only few words, and if the audience is lucky, a complete sentence or two, which is understandable as you do not have the entire day to post an elaborate note.
There might be things you do in the background, but the statement is contradicting your style that appears to the viewers.
