Unfortunately, your family of #bitcoiners and #nostriches and #techs either bully or alienate ir even harrass #nonbitcoiners or those who don't adhere to bitcoin-worship, techspeak or nostr-worship like yours truly and to even deny it is so in-your-face hipocrisy I can tolerate a couple of notes on #bitcoin, nostr and tech but to be compelled, bullied, or even harrassed to worship #btc and nostr and to delete X and other socmeds are totally not my vibe, and I'm also aware of #NOSTR being no different from other centralized protocols adhering to the worship-thee-gods mentality like if you're not popular, you don't get any decent interactions, dead end Why don't some #nostriches stay? I mean, like one shouldn't a wee bit impose on an #NSFW poster to just abandon #Bluesky or the nonbitcoiners, non-techs, seniors, influencers, cosplayers etc to delete #X or a #GenZ or #anime or #cosplayer to stfu and talk bitcoin or nostr or tech only, or else . . . ? I myself find it difficult to just blabber on here about non-bitcoin or non-nostr or non-tech yadadash as Karens and Kens (mostly Kens) proliferate like termites on here. Yes, termites - that what eats up your house if not controlled Nostriches care to disagree? Or nostriches too scared to blurt out the truth and be branded as a coño or a gringo with an unpopular opinion? Who cares anymore? I want my time to be spent wisely by being happy where I spend it on, and seeing Kens blabbering about bitcoin this and nostr that, tech this or tech that, like 🙉 🙉 🙉 🙉 🙉 !!! I'd much rather shitpost on 4chan boards, #reddit #quora #X etc where topics are as infinite as the stars in the galaxy If bitcoin or tech or nostr runs your life, how tf are you still enjoying your life? This is one drum I will beat as long as I'm on nostr: Outsiders hear crypto and think scam and only scam. It does not matter if it is bitcoin, shitcoin, or general cryptography. So how do you easily dismiss them and not actually address their concerns, legitimate or unfounded? Just buzzwords like FUD. It's simple and you get to rally those that agree with you. Sadly, I think that if this "dismiss the non-believer" attitude is so prevalent amongst the most popular users, that nostr will lose any momentum it may currently have and relegate it to a super niche platform. And I do mean platform because that's how I and I would assume a fair few not-bitcoiners/developers see it and not a protocol.

There's nothing wrong with giving and brief explanation and then moving on if they don't carez don't get it, or don't want to know more. I truly believe people will slowly get orange pilled through osmosis as they become purple pilled. There's not need to be pushy. Nostr will just bring it about because it's natural. If you can understand fuck you social, you'll eventually understand fuck you money.

Seems to make perfect sense that this would be the first community to populate it… since they built it. 🤷🏻‍♂️ • I for one have not witnessed any degree of bullying non-bitcoiners up here. Not a fan of naming names nor of reposting notes that I don't agree with but it doesn't mean I'm blind to facts. If you don't see them, it doesn't mean they're non-existent I'm not in the habit of post-shaming people either though in speaking the truth, I know I've offended some sensitive souls but I speak the truth as I see it. There's a mute button for you if you want it. Bullies calling others bullies is a classic bully tactic. It's called playing the victim. I suppose you think it's fine that women are "bullying" self mutilating "sportswomen" too. Or christians being upset about satanists organising clubs at schools, or teachers grooming kids to get their tits cut off.
Here you see an example of shitcoiners whining and calling the mass of users of this protocol as though they are of a single mind about things, and crying crocodile tears about how mean we are for caring so much about bitcoin and lightning, even though any rational person understands that Nostr's big value add is precisely its integration with LN (and thus bitcoin).
