Holy shit, I think I just realized a direct and concrete way that Iβve personally experienced to how #Nostr completely changes the social incentives:
β’ Rage and hateful posts on Twitter get the most attention.
β’ Positive and happy posts on Nostr get the most zaps.
It really was just monetization all the time.
When attention is the currency, negativity and hate rise to the top because the platforms need people arguing.
When sats directly from peers are the currency, value rises to the top.
(Anyone else feel theyβve had this same experience?)
