Because you’ve become a second class citizen in your own “country”.
Can’t enforce your own laws, can’t retain your own communities, but make sure to get your shots and pay your taxes to keep the machine going.
My guy i hate to be the one to break it to you but noncitizens, as well as the undocumented, very much pay taxes in the US, why do you think the DHS immigration OS is partnering with the IRS, bc they like each other so much?
