Considering how so many Westerners think that AIs are oracles that are never wrong about anything, Bill Gates probably assumes that the Africans will treat his AI like a religion. If he thinks that he could turn an entire continent of "people" into a Microsoft cargo cult, that would erxplain why he suddenly lost interest in "climate change".
