most people don't really have any understanding of what it means to be forced into nomadism by the difficulties of negotiating with some parts of human society. most people have some idea, of this sense of "this is my place" and they stay in these places for often decades, sometimes many decades. they have a sense of ownership "this is my house" the last 150 years or so, has seen a steady trajectory towards a situation where a minority (probably around 5-10% of the population) are perpetually in motion, where in times past, it was more like 1-3% of the population being stuck having to constantly adapt and adjust to new surroundings in order to survive. this is what it is to live in a society dominated by tyrants, but if they forced everyone to be like this (live in the pod, eat ze bugs, take ze drugz, THX1138 style), the tyrants would lose their power. because they would become like me. a permanent asylum seeker. not from any one particular country or organisation, but rather, from an oppressor whose influence spreads along every road, every power cable, and every network cable. you can't beat them inside the game they run. you have to step outside it, so that you can have the time and space in your MIND to invent the thing that destroys their most critical hooks in the population. this is how i feel towards tptb: you stole my life you stole my time you stole my friends you stole my family you stole my house you stole my land you tried to steal my soul may the wrath of God cling warmly and penetratingly throughout your evil system, until every last piece of shit in it is vaporized.
