Three souls, ripped from the threads of time by an impossible truck, become unwilling players in a game of survival. Marcus Valerius Maximus, a Roman engineer perfecting aqueduct designs, finds his ordered world shattered. Shao Cheng, a Tang dynasty slave girl fleeing unspeakable horrors, discovers salvation in the strangest form. Qi Jingsen, a Martian revolutionary whose force fields can stop relativistic bullets, meets his match in an antiquated vehicle that shouldn't exist. All three awaken in modern Tokyo, prisoners of the Driver; a figure whose casual ownership of impossible technology hints at resources that dwarf even the planetary governments Qi is familiar with. Forced to perform for his clients' entertainment, they must navigate a world of chaos while grappling with concepts of freedom that transcend their original understanding. As the unlikely trio bonds over shared displacement and growing rebellion, they uncover the Driver's true game: an empire that spans further than most can imagine. But their captor has been playing this game far longer than civilizations have existed, and his next move will determine whether they become legends of resistance, or cautionary tales lost to time. Genre: Isekai, Science Fiction Thriller with Historical Elements. #animestr

So I have an idea for something fun to do or nostr. I will be writing a novel right here a nostr; every week I will post a new part - at least 150 words. I will be posting one additional part behind a paywall, behind a paywall for 150 sats, to keep with the 150 theme and that would be one part ahead of what's available here. And as a fun game every 1500 sats triggers an additional 150 words, (up to 1500, because otherwise it's too much.) If for any reason, I miss a part any week, I will be zapping twice of my previous weeks' earning to someone, picked by the readers! The genre of the novel will be fantasy/sci-fi; for those familiar with anime culture the word "Isekai" will make sense to you, but expect a spin that you've never seen before. I will be writing in English primarily; but eventually once I get to a full novel, I will be doing a full translation in Japanese. I will be writing a synopsis shortly. How does that idea sound, nostr?

Some things: 1. *You have to scroll-right on mobile.* Unlike Jumble and Alexandria, Wikistr is an unapologetic desktop-focused app, and that's why it's cool. If you have a wide screen, you can open up lots of panels, and make some wider, and it turns into the document version of a Bloomberg terminal. Credit for this design goes to @fiatjaf. 2. The different Wikistr themes have different looks, help text, and *different relays*, for the document search and the social interactions. #Quranstr uses Nostrabia, for instance, whilst #Biblestr focuses on Christpill. The basic #Wikistr has been left secular. I am looking for a Jewish relay, but haven't yet found one, so #Torahstr uses generic ones. 3. All have light and *dark themes*. The light themes are so much prettier, but I know you will all use the dark ones. 4. All themes take *your personal relay list* into account, and share a few document relays, so you can just pick the theme you like and use that. 5. *We printed the Bible first because Gutenberg did* and he's the inspiration for our Nostr printing press. We will proceed to print all other open-license books we can find, including the Torah, Quran, classical authors, English literature, etc. They will all be searchable, with this mechanism. 6. This wikistr *can find and render kinds 300023, 30041, 30817, 30818, 30040*, and the comments are kind 1111 and you can vote at the top of the panels, using the up/down arrow buttons. Only kinds 30817/818 are in the left-most panel feed, to keep it uncluttered and true to the origins. It's worth noting that Psalm 42 is prayed by the priest and altar servers at the beginning of every Catholic Mass celebrated according to the old form (1962 and previous).
Pro tip for hosters. If you're hosting a service that might require or allow users to download assets from 3rd party services (like a CDN), but that don't need for your use case. You can set a Content Security Policy for the service that controls what your user's will download, possibly disabling unnecessary CDN tracking connections. Generally it's easiest to set a header in your L7 load balancer config (reverse proxy), or your ingress controller if supported. Yes there are better ways, but this is a dang easy first step. For example, I host a web service called cgit, which attempts to fetch avatar files from a cdn. Avatars are neat, but not at the expense of my user's privacy (leaking connection info) and also security (3rd party content that I don't monitor could be malicious with a number of basic attacks). I set a CSP that tells the client what content to load and where, breaking these requests.
There is SO MUCH to learn around btc. I just watched a video (Bitcoin Not Crypto) about border wallets. I had heard the term, but had no idea what a border wallet is. Its fascinating to me, and i feel like i will never learn everything about btc in one lifetime. Maybe thats why its so difficult to try to explain it to no-coiners. #AlwaysLearning
