I spend about $100 a month, every month, and have for the past couple of years on Nostr relays and application servers. I don't ask for donations. It's costly. However, it's more costly to *not* contribute to Nostr's future. Freedom isn't free.

Asking isnβt necessarily a bad thing. Some people are willing to give V4V once they know whatβs going on behind the scenes.

More self deployed relays will help, it doesn't have to online 24hours. Just start a relay on your phone over tor network to host your content and your friends will help alot. And it costs zero if you connect through Wifi.
