I will be playing one v4v song each episode of @Plebchain Radio going forward. The @Fountain team were super helpful in setting us up with the new experimental feature where the song appears as a separate chapter, and the artist split can be localized to that chapter. We will set up 90% of the boosts to go to the artist during the song. Make sure you boost within the song duration if you want to support the artist – boosts at any other point in the episode will default back to the regular episode splits. Now I need your help in picking a song for this Friday’s show. I’m looking for rock/metal – ideally with a nice minor guitar solo in there. Drop your suggestions in the comments πŸ‘‡

Check out @Bowl After Bowl they have a metal moment which has splits and all that in there, you could feature the same song from one of their pods. nostr:nprofile1qqszxgvrzkpasudhvdjx3anl77qxse5wd6eunndmyv9x63uwnpn09mgpr4mhxue69uhkummnw3ezucnfw33k76twv4ezuum0vd5kzmp0qyghwumn8ghj7mn0wd68ytnhd9hx2tcpzfmhxue69uhkummnw3e82efwvdhk6tcgt4a3xis there a playlist where you can listen to all of revs songs or bits? Also @DuhLaurien βœŒπŸ»πŸ‘½πŸ’¨ has a demu podcast home grown hits which you can find some tunes on.
@Avi Burra My suggestion would be Yellowhammer by @npub1wzvn...3tv2. It was just released this summer. Its got upbeat but angsty indie vibes. A very plebian sort of attitude. Or check out self destruct (Live on BBC2 version!) If you want more guitar. Their latest 4v4 music is in this album: Yellowhammer by The Trusted Self Destruct Live on BBC2 by The Trusted If you're looking for something more rock, look for The Velvicks. They're full on 🀘🏽🀘🏽🀘🏽 and @Hash Power Music is releasing a new track from them this week. Its an interesting story btw... the band is gone but thanks to v4v they can still earn and release new2demu songs. (I know you hate the name demu, we can agree to disagree on that!) Hit Me Like Sugar by The Velvicks
Check out I Need A Little by The Retrograde. The first of many releases from the artists we work with. image At the time, we were Cannabis Records. We were at the first Nostrville and immediately after, drove down to Muscle Shoals Alabama to record The Retrograde's debut album at FAME studios. Legends like Aretha Franklin and Rolling Stones recorded there too! We immediately put their album out in the valueverse around the same time Ainsley and JustLoud had their first v4v show. We put out a quick case study on this album showcasing the power of v4v. This note is long so I can link it for you later if you like. Anyways, they've got a massive southern rock sound I think you and @QW would dig. (Full charge - he knows)
