Maybe the mistake I’ve always made when talking about Bitcoin was saying that the system was broken, like economists were stupid or something.
But it’s not broken. It works perfectly.
It took me a while to realize this.
We live in an era where we can cure once-incurable diseases, send people to Mars, and build AI that simulates human thought. And yet, we can’t ensure that two working adults can afford a stable life?
No, it’s not incompetence. They're not stupid. It’s not bad luck. It’s by design.
The economy isn’t in crisis. It’s just that we’re not at the center of it. It’s engineered to transfer wealth and power upward. The Cantillon Effect isn’t a side effect = it’s the engine of the system.
Money is the source code of power. And as long as it’s arbitrarily created by those who decide who gets it first, every effort within this system is doomed to be extracted.
Bitcoin doesn’t exist to fix anything. It exists to build an alternative outside this rigged game. A system where value isn’t distorted at its creation.
Realizing that the system works perfectly, just not for us, is the first step to opting out.
I opt out.

Correct, it is by design. Else it would have been fixed a long time ago.
good.
that cuts right through to the heart of the matter.
🤙😇
Exactly, and well put 👌
and if money is the source code of lower, do you think the powers that be will allow it to be co-opted by open source? or can Bitcoin be compromised by the establishment
I agree with this and thank you for taking to time to make this post. In my circles(Christian Church) I am finding framing the current system as a system of unqueal weights and measures has been helpful. That analogy is used multiple times in the bible so the Christian Church is familiar with it. The trick is clearly showing HOW our current financial system is set up as such and demonstrating how Bitcoin os different.
💯. Opting out is a super power.
The purpose of a system is what it does. 🚁👇

The System is fixed. Bitcoin replaces the System.
And not just the money, the actual political system is completely broken.
When I realized what Switzerland was, my mind was blown.
Because the thing is, even if when we fix the money, the rules will not be enforced because nobody really knows what they are and how to enforce them.
The next step for a better world after Bitcoin is redefining democracy.
You’re absolutely right – the system is working perfectly. But let’s not sugarcoat it: it’s not just rigged. It’s a predatory system designed to keep us fighting over scraps while the elites keep stacking wealth and control. This isn’t incompetence; this is precision. Every flaw, every “problem” you see is just a feature, a necessary condition for the machine to keep running smoothly. The wealth doesn’t “trickle down.” It’s siphoned upward on purpose, and the Cantillon Effect? That’s not a mistake; it’s the foundation. The game isn’t broken – it’s designed to crush us.
We’re not dealing with well-meaning economists or unfortunate luck. This is a deliberate extraction. The economy doesn’t exist to serve you, it exists to serve the few who are in on the game. Those at the top, they’re not trying to make things better; they’re consolidating everything.
Bitcoin isn’t a patch for the system. It’s the opposite. It’s a declaration of war on this parasitic structure. It’s a tool for those who understand that the only way out is to burn the house down. Anyone still waiting for a “fix” from within the system is just fooling themselves. The game is rigged, and the sooner you accept it, the sooner you realize that opting out isn’t just an option – it’s the only option.
The system isn’t broken, we are. And it’s time to stop playing by their rules. Time to opt out, to build an alternative – and to burn it all down with Bitcoin. No compromises. No negotiation. Full exit. This is the future. Everything else is just more shackles.
Truth. Ww must be prepared for them to go down swinging, too.
It’s just hard to play by the rules. One can’t get ahead. Savings being withered away. Glass ceiling at work. Impossible to jump 2 levels in one life
Get out of the system and build your own, keep searching for the truth Laura.
You can just have insight😃
Great post
I also opt out. GM

Very good point nobody wants to fix a system that works in there favour... Just #bitcoin won't leave them alone..

Uninstalling Fiat.exe
🧡❤️🔥🌿
Fiat system is not open source. That’s the main problem.
The “In Time” movie was ahead of its time. Since money is our time and energy in abstracted form (thanks @jack mallers ) then in the current fiat world we are already getting our time stolen from us by the elite Cantillionare class.
Wow! Never seen it like this, definitely a shift of perspective 💯
Well said
