yes, would be cool for a bitchat user to tap "send bitchat" and drop it onto another device without it, like an airdrop but a "bitdrop"
Maybe you can share an apk another way from a phone to another phone but may be simple for not techy user to share the app when you can't download it in a grid down.

Looks like a one time thing. You need to have the apk available so your bitchat can share it with someone. Download it once and maybe it will always be there?
It also mitigates the risk if you are offline or app stores are offline. I like it π

This is what Briar did and it's pretty cool. We tested that one time on a flight. Briar didn't have to download anything though, it was immediately available to do this.

Users that don't have bitchat and internet, can now download it via a wifi hotspot created by a bitchat users, where it can be downloaded.
