Sexual orientation is a choice. Within the body, it is a deal between (A) hormone state, (B) concious mind, and (C) subconcious mind. Environmental factors like food, water, medicine, and clothing influence your hormone state (A). Culture wars, media, parents, and peers influence your concious mind (B). The decisions you make in your concious mind trains your subconcious mind (C), where your "long term memory" about your identity resides. Once you become aware of these 3 components and the relationship between them, then you can change your sexual orientation be refashioning the inputs. For example: A. Eliminate estrogenic environmental influences which disregulate healthy sex hormones by way of phytoestrogens (from food), xenoestrogens (from clothing), and medical estrogens (birth control directly or via tap water). Work out and eat a diet in rich animal products. Get sun. Resolve health issues. B. Insulate or refashion your social inputs such that you are not rewarded and externally incentivized based on your sexual identity. Become aware of these inputs first, then angry at them, then break up with them. Make the decision to be straight so that C can begin it's long work. C. Train your subconcious mind by thoroughly convincing your concious mind of your explicitly chosen identity. Over time, with consitent behavior, your subconciois mind will make itself consistent. A straight person could reverse this to make themselves queer. Disregulate their hormones, surround themself with queer social reinforcement, decide they were gay, do gay things, and wait for the subconcious mind to commit that state to long term identity. Even more harrowing: the ruling class could use their influence to create an environment that makes the population gay, especially young people, who are vulnerable to this type of environmental and social engineering.

I would agree , but the person in question, the man who contested the idea that a man performing fellatio on another man makes them gay, was under the impression that it could happen once , or serveral times , with full intention and consent of both parties , and if the man, or indeed men, decide between them that it wasn't gay , then it wasn't gay. I'm not sure what he meant if I'm being honest.
