Are modern beds a scam? ποΈ
More and more people claim sleeping on the floor is the proper way humans should sleep.
Sounds crazy? Well... it should heal all back pain, lead to a stronger body and better posture.
Yes, I tried it and it was NOT AT ALL what I expected ππ

I didn't watch the video but I have a personal story to relate. Sometimes my lower back hurts because of sitting in a poor posture. Sleeping on a bed no matter how firm just makes it worse. But sleeping on the carpeted floor fixes it and in the morning I'm magic again. Yes, it hurts to sleep on a hard floor. But my back somehow needs that. I wouldn't do it if it didn't work, and I only do it when my back is hurting.
I can't believe it is good for you.
So glad that someone re-noted this video. First things first: your home is gorgeous.
Wonderful video. Educational and vulnerable of you to film it. A dear friend of mine, her daughter has scoliosis and she sleeps on the floor every night.
wtf he's a millionaire! π€£π€£
I'm a simple man.
I see a new Max DeMarco video, and I watch it immediately.

Great video! We're all floor sleepers in our family now. It's been three years since making the switch to a futon, never going back.
Wood floor saved my back. Plenty of other variables also, but flat on the floor makes all the difference.
First night on the floor here I come. Curios.
GN.
How did it Go?
I woke up 6-7 times during the night and in the early morning hours it became very uncomfortable. My back was hurting in the morning but now it's fine. And my shoulder pain, which I had since weeks, is gone. Overall I'm feeling good and refreshed. Will continue the experimentπͺ
Side sleeping or back sleeping?
Started on back. Switched between side and back during the night
Btw I'm still sleeping on the floor. And after one week or so it felt quite comfortable and still does. I'm still feeling refreshed after 5-6 hours of sleep.
Try using a thinner pillow. I have been sleeping on the floor for the last 2 years and I use a soft travel pillow to sleep on it. Also try to use a carpet or something to separate you better from the floor, if the floor is cold that is not going to be good long term anyway. Your body is exchanging heat with the floor while you are sleeping.
Tried this myself and can approve it! My back feels a lot better after a week on the floor.
The crazy thing about it is that everyone I told about my experiment said to me: βyeah I already heard of it, tried it and it helpedβ π
Even my mother is doing this from time to time.
Anyway, I will do this for some more days, but Iβm pretty sure that I will get rid of my mattress in near future.
@Duchess dont forget to selling beds for sats... π
