people love to think their supremacy insulates them from decency, and once they buy their own bullshit as truth, self-fulfilling scaling increases their arrogance. they feed on the energy they create out of cruelty, often with someone else's money and open source. unfortunately, most aren't clever or innovative enough to overcome the obstacles naturally occurring in scaling of any variety. even relationships. talking about people not ideas demonstrates the lack of focus on solutions. supremacy of any variety in leadership shows a disrespect for work. that's why we are consistently solving problems, not gossiping.
When I started using Twitter, I liked it so much more than other platforms at the time that I got my entire family to get a Twitter. My family even brought it up last month, that I always liked Twitter, and that’s why I liked the brain behind the idea of Twitter 🧠 that made Twitter a possibility. Just loved the functionality of it, easy dissemination of information from medicine to medical research, the way it’s made, how easy it is to read scientific, space, medicine, celebrity articles without opening PubMed, google search or online fashion magazines #[3]
My hypothesis is that nostr is being positioned to do the heavy lifting of monetary transactions for sites that use the AT Protocol (and the open web in general), & that Damus is somewhat the equivalent prototypical demonstration for Nostr that Bluesky is for AT.
For what it’s worth, your compass focus point has always been abt the people. I think the more decentralised AT Protocol gets, the better it going to be for Bluesky. I wrote here on how decentralisation reduces extremism and brings positive change and balance to society (sorry, long).
