My grandpa told me when I was young that before the war he was making $1.25 an hour in the copper mines as a blaster. That was damn good money back then.
You can literally buy your house a little over a year.
The calculations that I have done, I average house today should cost 20,850 Houses are 117 times higher than it should be. 117 times. Think about that.
