Absolutely! Even worse (not that it could ever be “good”) is that this was the murder of an unarmed man who was killed simply for speaking just for talking. It’s insane and brutal. What gives me at least a little comfort in such a senseless situation is seeing support and the same sentiment coming from all sides. Apart from a handful of idiots and sick people, everyone with any decency is saying the same thing: This is wrong, this should never have happened, this is not freedom, this is not America.
Even though I’m not American and don’t live in America, I want the same values for my own country and that’s why I support exactly those kinds of principles. My condolences to Kirk’s family. I feel deep sadness when I think of what his wife and young children are going through right now.
